What if we could send messages across light-years in the blink of an eye?

In space, distance is the major challenge. Today, communication with spacecraft can take minutes, hours or even years. This quantum entanglement phenomenon is described as “Spooky action at a distance”. It could allow us to communicate instantly, no matter how far the spacecraft is.

Recently, China’s Micius satellite has shown promising results in quantum communication on Earth. Imagine extending this to interstellar distances.
